Accounts and school information

Calendar stores your account, preferences, personal events, and schedule so you can use your workspace on different devices. Passwords are stored as salted password hashes. Canvas access tokens are encrypted on the server. Your account requires sign-in; knowing the website address does not let someone view your calendar.

When you connect Canvas, Calendar requests your classes, assignments, grades, and calendar events from your school's Canvas service. Data is processed and stored using Cloudflare. You can disconnect your saved Canvas token in Settings. Canvas can also revoke or expire a token.

Assistant

The Assistant uses Cloudflare Workers AI to answer your questions with relevant Canvas grade information. Your questions and relevant class context are sent to that service. Passwords and Canvas tokens are excluded from the model prompt. The conversation is held in the current browser session rather than saved as account chat history. Avoid entering information you do not want processed by the Assistant.

Weekly recaps

Weekly recap lives inside your signed-in calendar. It summarizes Canvas submission dates, scores, missing work, and grade changes. Encrypted weekly check-ins save to your private account when Canvas syncs while Calendar is open, allowing you to revisit saved weeks. Historical activity can sometimes be reconstructed from Canvas dates; past course totals are shown only if a snapshot was saved.

Calendar no longer collects email addresses during signup or sends weekly emails. Account recovery uses your emergency recovery key.

Cookies and browser storage

Calendar uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser or password manager may separately offer to save your login. Reminders require browser permission. Your calendar is displayed at its normal website address; browser history and network activity can contain that address.

Advertising

A single display banner placement is reserved on the Assistant page. Google ads are currently inactive while the site awaits approval. There are no advertising placements on the calendar, grades, classes, timeline, sign-in, or Settings pages.

If Google AdSense is activated, third-party vendors, including Google and its partners, may use cookies and other identifiers to serve and measure ads based on visits to this and other websites. Advertising can involve browser and device information, IP addresses, and page context. Calendar does not send your password or Canvas token as advertising parameters. Advertising privacy and consent settings must be configured before activation.

Account safety

Use a unique password and keep your recovery key private. Lock Calendar in Settings to sign out on this browser. Closing a tab alone does not revoke a saved session.
